Clevis Slip Hook with Safety Latch - Chromate Gold - 3/8"

Grade 70 hooks meet all D.O.T requirements for use with Grade 70 Transport Chain which is widely used for securing loads on a flatbed trailer. A slip hook forms a noose which tightens as a load is applied and the latch ensures that the chain does not inadvertently slip out of the hook. The hook is easily attached to a length of chain with the built-in clevis pin and secured with the supplied cotter pin. Used primarily by the trucking industry for load binding, as well as on farms, in logging, and in construction.
